HO Bachmann GP7 DCC-DC ?
Posted by Ron51777 on Friday, February 11, 2011 11:15 AM

I got this engine and it says its DCC or its 100 percent backwards compatible with standard DC non-digital railroad layouts. My layout is DC right now maybe someday DCC but not right now so what I don't know is if I have to do anything to this GP7 so it will run on my DC layout, this is a new engine and I have not ran it. and only have some exprience I'm just starting my layout. Thanks for any help Ron.

Yup, you're all set.  Put it on the tracks and have fun.  Like they noted don't use a pulsed power supply.  Stick with a standard DC power pack.
