I am currently using easy dcc and rarely have problems. however, after having a short, the command center stopped computing. using the manual, I cleared the box which wiped the locos assigned to throttle a and b. this is the expected result. now- the module will not allow me to continue and assign the loco to either throttle. so- what is the next step?? thanks pabdo
pabdo,
I would try and contact CVP Products directly with your issue.

Time...It marches on...without ever turning around to see if anyone is even keeping in step.
Press and hold the ESC key as you push RESET.
Replace the backup battery in the command station.
If these don't solve the problem, contact CVP Products. If you didn't have adequate surge or short circuit protection your booster or power supply may have blown an internal fuse, and these items are not normally user serviceable.
