Sick BLI Paragon 2 AC6000

I have 2 of these, and had them set up for the easy consist 60.  Suddenly, it seemed the 2 were running slugish. I noticed the rear loco was not even running.  So I created a Digi consist on the controller and thought I would use that to do the consist... neither loco would work then.  So I went back to consist 60 and the front loco worked still.  So I deleted that consist so that the front loco was indipendant (unit 7500).  I did the same for the back loco, unit 7501... but still 7501 does not do anything.  I tried to set cv8 to 8 and nothing.  So I think I need to do a hard reset but I dont know where that button is.

I noticed the top of the rear comes off, just above the blowers and I see the circuit card, but no button.  What is my next step?

I had forgotten about the service mode programming.  I did the CV8=8 with that, and it works now.

As to that link...how do you get access to the decoder?  The lid that I remobed does not let you get to that button...  are there instructions on how to pul the shell off? (assuming that is what you need to do?
