I am trying to wire the NCE Power cab to the track. It should be straight forward I know, but the red led light is not coming on and there is no power to the track. Can anyone help?
Make sure that you have the panel mounted so the red LED is to the bottom.
Then you must use the flat wire between the throttle and the panel and it must plug into the socket on your left.
Did you read the instructions in the manual? The old addage RT*M

You also need to plug the cab buss cable to the first receptacle. That meaning the first outlet on the control panel with the red LED being below the the cable receptacles

Also check for a short. Something metal across the track or a reverse loop will keep the power cab from booting up. This next one sounds stupid but happens. Make sure the wall wart is plugged into a non switched outlet. Don't ask me how I know this. I have one outlet in the train room that has an un-switched socket on top and the bottom is switched from a switch in the hallway. I have since rewired it to all un-switched.
