Blue Line E7 CV's all messed up, help!
Posted by rjake4454 on Sunday, November 7, 2010 11:18 PM

I've had a lot of problem with programming this one, and now I can't find the manual. After resetting it on the programming track, I'm at least back to where I started.

Does anyone know how to make it so the engine is set to mute upon start up?

Is that N scale?  All the Broadway Limited manuals can be found here:  http://www.broadway-limited.com/supportdocumentation.aspx

On my Blue Line they will not make any sound till I give them some throttle. Give them a little gas, or coal and then start up starts. If you want to run them with no sound you use F 8. Factory default is CV 8 = 8.

Was that of some help? If not I have the manual in front of me.

Yeah, I'm trying to get it to run mute as default, I tried the CV 8 with a value of 8, but not luck. I'm using MRC prodigy express btw.

Set CV133 to 0 for off / no volume when running.  15 is max volume.

Ah, I think that did the trick. Thanks.
