I'm looking to add ditch lights to a few of my HO scale locos, but I'm not sure of which ones to use or where to get them. I'd like a suggestion from someone who has experience installing them.
So far, I've been using digitrax decoders and Miniatronics 14V bulbs. I'd prefer not to use LEDs unless there are some that will look right combined with the incandescent bulbs. Otherwise, I'll have to switch all my bulbs to LEDs.
Who makes the best ditch lights?
Do you have to buy the ditch light stands separately, and then get bulbs for them?

Details West makes some nice ditch light castings in different varieties. Those castings are made for the tiny 1.5 volt bulb. I have used theirs with micro LEDs and they work also.
To get the most prototypical appearance of what ditch lights to use, look at prototype photos.
