Hello Everyone,
I am new to the forum, and I was wondering if any of you could recommend a sound decoder for a locomotive that I have just purchased. The locomotive is a Precision Craft Models 2-10-0 Decapod, and it came without sound. I am running the locomotive on a DC layout, and would like to install sound decoder to make it come alive. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
They originally had a QSI decoder installed in the sound equipped locos. You might look at a quantum revolution decoder. It lists a sound set for the I1sa locos.

I pray every day I break even, Cause I can really use the money!
I started with nothing and still have most of it left!
Welcome to the forum, I hope you find it useful for your railroading questions.
I've done several sound decoder installations into the PCM I1sa locomotives using the QSI Revolution-U decoder. Two speakers with enclosures will fit into the tender. I'll add a shameless plug for Tony's Train exchange: http://www.tonystrains.com/ They are the best in the DCC business hands down.
You can ask for Josh and tell him Erik Fiske sent you!
Cheers,

I couldn't fix your brakes, so I made your horn louder
Thanks for the information. I will look into the QSI decoder.
