Loose wire from bottom of frame and don't know where on circuit board it connects. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The loose wire is the bottom motor wire. It goes where that partially pushed on black plastic clip is on the side of the circuit board (on the right in your picture). Pull the black cover off, stick the bare end of the wire in the hole, and push the cap back on. Better yet, solder it for reliability, although that makes it tougher to remove the circuit board and motor should you have to.

That was the first position on the right end of the circuit. Did that but now the engine runs in reverse when placed on the track and does not respond. CV 29 was programmed as 34 to eliminate the DC operation.

That's the right place. Do you have the decoder in the 9 pin or 8 pin connector? If it's in the 8 pin, it might be backwards. If you connected the motor to the left-hand terminal in the pic then both motor terminals would be connected to the same decoder connection and it definitely would not move. Runnign in reverse is a symptom of either a backwards 8 pin plug or an incorrect value in CV28. 34 would be correct for 28/128 speed steps, 4 digit address and normal forward operation. Are you sure it's 34 and not 35? 35 would make it run in reverse.
You probably can't link pictures posted on Trainboard. From Photobucket you could post them anywhere, including Trainboard. Or if you get web space from your ISP, you could put them there.
