Tsunami TSU-KT1000

I'm looking to purchase a Tsunami TSU-KT1000 decoder for one of my Kato Dash 9 units. I mainly have Digitrax and a few MRCs with sound. It appears that the speaker has to be purchased separately. Can someone verify for me. I have a spare MRC 23mm speaker leftover from a decoder that I may use if that is the case.

Just verify that the speaker is 8 ohm. The tsunami manual recommends not using anything lower.

Next question is will a 23mm speaker fit?

If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.

Does the MRC speaker have a baffle?  If not, the sound will be terrible.  You need a properly baffled speaker even if you're going to put it into the fuel tank area.
