Operating DC signals
Posted by BNENGR on Sunday, February 28, 2010 12:21 AM

Hi Group,

I'm running in DCC but have DC signals from my previous DC layout that I would like to use.

How can I do it? I have the Walther's Cornerstone crossing signals with the control box that hooks up to the DC throttles and track. There are optical sensors hidden between the ties that pick up train movements.

Thank you.

Paulie,

If the control/detection system for those crossing signal is optical(and not connected to the track), they should work just fine.  I have not looked at the Walthers crossing signals, but is there a DC vs DCC model?
