Gate crossing flasher module

I just purchased a pair of NJ International crossing signals and just want to power the LEDS to flash for now without investing in a dection system. Is there a simple circuit I can build to allow me to do this?

The Grade Crossing Pro board from Logic Rail Technologies will do this if you hook it up with an on/off switch and no detectors.

Thanks for the info. I found a simple circuit diagram using a 555 timer chip, (2) capacitors, and (2) resistors that may work as well. Will build a test board and see if it does the trick. Some leftover parts I had laying around. Will post.
