Decoder for SD70M
Posted by riogrande35 on Thursday, December 3, 2009 8:18 PM

Hi, I recently purchased an Athearn Genesis SD70M. I would like to add a decoder to it but not sure what to use since the ditch lights are 1.5 volts. Do I need to add resisters for the ditch lights or is there a decoder so equipped?

A TCS A6X decoder should be an exact board replacement for the constant lighting board that is in the Genesis SD70M, and it supports the 1.5 Volt bulbs used by Athearn.
