Bachmann GP35 decoder maker?

I want to consist this engine (GP35) with the Intermoutain Emd F9B # 4959S loco with a QSI sound .
Both units have different speed ratios-- would welcome suggestions on how to consist both of them together so that I do not overtax one engine over the other.

Anyone know who the manufacturer is of the Bachmann diesel locomotive?

This is a Bachmann DCC on Board locomotive, yes?  If it is, then it has a low-end Lenz decoder inside it.

Because one has sound and the other doesn't, you'll need to match the non-sound Geep with the sound F9B because, generally, sound units take more voltage to get them going.  That means dialing up or down the startup voltage (CV2 or V-Start) on the Geep so that it starts out at the same time as the F9B.

What kind of DCC system are you using?

Sorry but what does Geep mean. If I can get these two engines consisted, I want to buy addiitional F9B units to go with my other Bachmann DCC /no sound locos, I have the 5003;5009( Red white), and 8205 8210 Grey and Maroon.

Sorry for the confusion, HO.  "Geep" is the name given to GP locomotives.

Also, just a note of clarification.  Lenz (the name of the inventor of DCC) actually does make some very fine decoders.  Their Silver- and Gold-series decoders are just excellent and extremely smooth - although pricy.  The quality of the ones that Bachmann installs in their DCC on Board locomotives, however, are only so-so.
