Stepping Motors
Posted by cliffsrr on Sunday, October 18, 2009 7:00 PM

I have saved many stepping motors and keep wondering what is the simplest and cheapest way to utilize these motors. I know you have to have some electronics to make them work. Can anyone steer me in the right direction to get started. Recently there was a topic on gearing a turntable and a stepping motor was utilized but not mention of electronics involved.

Any help will be appreciated.

Take a look at some of the links below.

If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.

I don't know much about stepper motors. The following site has a couple of circuits to drive them.

I have used some of his other circuits with great success. I am sure he could answer some of your questions.
