1) Genesis SD 75 M (HO)

2) RTR Athearn SD45T-2 (HO)

3) Proto 2000 SD50

These are the engines I need to put cards in. It is just hard trying to find the best fit.

As long as the boards go in. I can deal with a little fabrication. Thanks.

The advantage of a "drop-in" lightboard replacement decoder is that it takes up zero additional space, it goes into the same space the lightboard occupied. Speakers aren't that big a problem, at minimum a 1/2" round speaker and enclosure will go pretty much anywhere in a diesel if you look inside. Often a larger oval speaker will fit too.

BTW they're sound decoders, sound cards are what your PC has to allow it play sounds.

The Digitrax 165 series decoders will repalce Athearn, Atlas, Kato and PK2 light boards and they have a socket to plug in a Digitrax Sound Bug decoder.  The nice thing about the Digitrax Sound Bug is you can upload specific sounds to the decoder.
