Is there anyway to test my reversing loop with out buy the gezmo that will let me run it full time? Section that will change the engine direction is fully isolated with plastic rail joiners.
I want to test to make sure the engines will track, turn got a tad tight.

Wire a DPDT switch with an X pattern between the corner terminals. Connect all feeders for the loop section to the terminals on one end. Connect the feed from your DB150 to the center terminals. It will be trial and error at first to see which way the toggle needs to be to get in the loop, but once the train is in the loop, flip the toggle the other way to proceed through the exit (don't forget to line the switch too, so you don't derail).
AN LED with a 1K resistor jumpered across ONE of the gaps on each side of the loop can serve as indicators - if the LED lights up, the polarity is WRONG to go that way. So use a red LED. Red means stop. If the LED is lit, you can't go that way without flipping the toggle switch.

Ken, You can wire your DCC reverse loop for testing the same way a DC reverse loop is wired.Use a double pole double throw (DPDT) toggle switch.
