DCC and Snap or Easy Track
Posted by mike1352 on Monday, August 10, 2009 12:33 PM

I would like to know if Snap Track or Easy Track. Would be alright for DCC. I have both regular and snap, but at the moment for trying out the N Scale DCC I've purchased the Snap track would be easier to put together. Also one of the N Scales has a Lenz Chip is this going to be a problem? Thank You. mike1352

You should be OK.  I have HO Bachmann EZ track with the NCE Power Cab.  As for decoders, your loco work fine.  Good luck with it.

Just make sure you drop enough feeders.  I have a temporary layout using S-Trax and I find that feeders before and after turnouts are usually necessary.

Enjoy

I have all Bachmann EZ-Track on my HO layout and it works just fine with my Digitrax Zephyr. The type of decoder in your loco shouldn't be a problem. I use decoders from Atlas, Bachmann, Digitrax, NCE, Lenz and TCS. I don't have any problems with any of them.
