I recently purchased the Quantum Revolution A for one of my locos but as I did'nt want to spend the extra money for the programming software and interface I created my own file from the QSI web site and sent it to my Local supplier to did the programming for me (of course for a price!) However I now have discovered during the wiring stages of my decoder that I forgot to also add the proper inputs for the front number boards.
So upon further investigation I found the program I sent my supplier shows that under configure light ports number boards should work off port #5 which I assume is output #5 on the circuit board?
Under Change CV Default Value (Feature config tab) (number board Tab) CV 55.100.0 is auto control and 55.100.1 is always on which is what I want.
But under the programming software Change CV Default Value (Output Tab) Output #5 for 53.5.0 says coupler sounds (211) or am I mistaken that the number boards will not work until I get CV 53.5.0 changed to front number lights (101) ? or am I confusing output ports and output mappings.
Help from the Quantum World would be great!....Thanx.
I would highly recommend joining the QSI Yahoo Group. I got some valuable information from there. QSI monitors it closely.
