Does anyone know what value resitor I would need to use between my digitrax decoder with outputs rated at 500mA to a micro LED.
Thanks,

I usually use a 1K resistor for LEDs. You can use a quarter-watt or eighth-watt size. If the LED is brighter than you want, go up another 200 ohms or so, and if it's too dim, go down the same amount.
It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.
Use 1K 1/4 resistor per LED, basic solution, however since DCC uses 14V in HO and depending the LED I go up to 2K for SMD LED.
