DCC controlled turnouts and switch motors
Posted by cptsail on Thursday, March 5, 2009 2:52 PM

Does anyone have any personal knowledge or know anything about the turnouts and switch motors by Cypress Engineering.  Conceptually, I think it's a wonderful idea in areas that you cannot install an under the table switch motor.  But I'm wondering about any experience from this type of switching?  Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.

Are you talking about the Fleas?  I have no personal experience with them, but I don't think I'd use one because I'd have a concern about burying electronic stuff in ballast. But that's just my opinion.

There was a thread batting these around if you want other opinions.  That was at http://cs.trains.com/trccs/forums/p/132408/1499081.aspx#1499081.

Regards
