Decoder for Mantua 2-6-6-2T
Posted by sfnative2 on Thursday, March 5, 2009 11:16 AM

Help...

I finally got my logger from Micro-Mark.  It is DCC ready with a 9 pin plug.  I know it is impossible to add sound, but what would be a good choice for a non-sound decoder?

Thanks...    Smile

As I recall I used an NCE and it was a snap! It also went a long way at giving her a more even throttle. Look at your exploded diagram, I think the decoder cover pops right off of the back of the cab! You wont be disappointed!

 Hi.

I  used a diggitrax  DH 123P THIS HAS WORKED VERY WELL .I fitted it in april 2007.the loco runs better  with the decoder, although i am dis apointed as the loco is very track sensitive and tends to derail to often.HOPE THIS HELPS.
