HELP!!!
Posted by 7793 on Friday, February 27, 2009 1:57 PM

I just bought a NCE power cab, and a BLI AC600 with paragon2 sound. I am trying to get to the extra sounds it has like freight yard sounds, and the like. But it says to use buttons like f-9 through f-28. I dont have these on my power cab. How do i get to these sounds?

Actually the Power Cab does have the ability to access all 28 functions.

Instead of me repeating the information here, carefully read over pages 19, 20 and 21 in your owners manual. Sounds awfully confusing, I know - but it's in there !

Mark.

You can also program those functions to be used with the program keys on the cab. By this I mean that function 15 can be set up to activate with function 5. It is really simple and it is in the BLI instructions.

Chris,

If it's a new Power Cab with the updated chip then you have all 28 functions.  All then that's left to be done is to activate F13-F28 by reconfiguring the OPTION button via your Power Cab throttle.  (A one-time, <2 minute operation.)  As Mark as implied, the steps for doing this should be in your Power Cab manual.
