BLI Blueline Sound
Posted by mreagant on Sunday, January 25, 2009 12:39 PM

I know (I think) that BLI Blueline sound will operate on a DC layout, which means it will also operate (I think) on a layout that will operate in either DC or DCC mode.  Question is, will it operate on a systen that is DCC only?

You will have to put a motor decoder in the Bluelines to run on DCC. I find that the TCS T1 decoders work great for the steam Bluelines. Set CV 29 to 38 and they run good on DC but take lots of throttle to run. They shine on DCC though.

Thanks, Pete.  Just wanted to make sure the sound would still work on a DCC only system.
