Evening all.
I recently purchased some Bachmann ez track turnouts with dcc. I tested them with my ez dcc system and they work fine. When I hook up my Prodigy Advance and follow the instructions in the manual nothing happens. I tried programming CV 513 but still get no response. Anyone know a step by step way to get the turnout to work. Thanks

Sorry Mike, can't help you there. I use a Digitrax Zephyr and it operates the one Bachann DCC turnout that I have with no problems at all. My other turnouts are old school DPDT switch operated.

Found the answer to my own question. I will post it here for anyone in the future who has the same question.
First: on the prodigy advance handheld slect ACCY.
Second: on the turnout you want to program use a pen and press the program button and hold for 2 seconds. The turnout will toggle four times.
Third: on the prodigy advance handheld type in the address you wish to assign the turnout and press enter. The turnout will toggle twice to indicate it has accepted the new address.
It's that simple.
hi just wondering if u have any problems with your trains derailing on your ez track turnouts because i have the same turnouts and i have nothing but problems
Acenan,
Yes I have had derailing problems with some of my turnouts. I just take a close look at what is causing the derailiments and try to fix them if I can.
Mike
Aceman, read my post in your 'e-z track turnouts' thread in the 'Layouts' section.

As I have said before EZ track turnouts are junk but they can be made to work with some fileing of the points. This and fact that I plan on re-doing my layout next year are the only reasons I have not ripped them out.
Personally I did not go with DCC turnouts because I prefer a panel to having to keep track of turnouts on a controller.
