I am asking for the 4-8-2 for christmas with the DCC decoder already in it. Will that decoder work with my Digitrak Zephyr? Or will I have to get a Digitrak decoder for it?
Im new to the DCC thing if you couldnt tell.

It will work just fine. I have TCS, Atlas and NCE decoders, and a Digitrax Zephyr running the table. They all play nice with each other.

I have a couple Spectrums. They work fine with a NCE controller. If you ever have issues with the Spectrums, there is an active Bachmann forum.
