The Bachmann auto reversing track is for DC use only and can not be used in conjunction with DCC. If the trolley line is seperate from the rest of the latyout, I would just run it off of the reversing unit and not have it attached to the NCE system.

I'll add something else to my comment above. If you want to use your NCE system to control the speed of the trolley line, depending on how the reversing circuit is wired, you might be able to use the output of a decoder as the DC input to the reversing unit.

Hi, and good luck with a nice litle project.

I have just done the same trolley line, independent of the whole system. I am running it on DC with a spare "cab" and am using a "circuitron" AR-2 module. this unit alloys me to have the trolley stop and control the time it does at both ends of the track. you could also install a DT-4 unit that could also make stops along the route. http://www.circuitron.com/

hope this is of some help.

 Good evening Pat

At present I am running a Brill trolley from backman. I picked it up while visiting the street car museum in Maine this fall. I am running about 20' of point to point track, starting in the town and ending up at the river wood mill, I plan to ad stops at the railroad station and the coal mine.

I am still in building stages even after 2 years.

 Good morning PAUL.

I am turning an elevated brick embankment into a street scean using Walters instant buildings, running on peco track buried in card ,with street lighting and points controled by nce system. l think this will take some time to finish.

It adds an extra dimention to main railroad.

                                   again many thanks

I thought I would throw this out there for any Digitrax useres reading this thread.  CML Electronics has released a product that would be perfect for this kind of automation: DSS1 LocoShuttle Automatic Controller.
