QSI cvProgrammer and Soundtraxx
Posted by fisker76 on Monday, August 4, 2008 12:42 AM
has anyone been able to successfully program an AT100LC using the quantum cvProgrammer?  The decoder is producing sound on the programming track but will not respond to cv changes or input from the programmer "cab."  Have had success with the QSI revolution series and Tsunamis but the 100LC has me stymied.  Qsi website indicates that it will program NMRA cv values for other manufacturers products.

Are you sure the CVs you're trying to change are ones that CAN be changed, and that the decoder is not locked?  You may need to download the LC manual from SoundTraxx so you know which CVs it supports, which ones are changeable, and the lock/unlock code.  The LC decoder series is limited in what can be changed.  One thing you absolutely cannot do to an LC decoder is program new sounds into it.

trying to change starting voltage, speed tables, acceleration and deceleration speed and speed matching for consists all supported by nmra standards and changeable according to the soundtraxx manual.  I'll have to find the lock code.

thanks,
