Is there a sound decoder suitable for an HO model of a 44-ton Whitcomb diesel-electric locomotive that produces sounds resembling dual 180 h.p. Caterpillar D17000 diesel engines?

That's an interesting little whistle sound. I don't know which decoder he used, but you could e-mail and ask him.

Thanks, Antonio. The modeler did a great job and the movie has good "in street" scenes, both on and off the trains. I recognize the track configuration from a shelf-layout plan from Model Railroader.

That video I believe was by Wedudler, from Germany, I don't know him personally, but he is a regular on the forum. He really does some really nice work. I think he used Lok-sound on that 44 tonner. That horn/whistle was an air whistle, I think they might have been standard on the 44, 45 tonners, don't know for sure.
