WellerWLC100 tips --where?
Posted by kenkal on Saturday, April 5, 2008 9:03 AM

This station continues to work very well and I've been using it a lot over the past 2 weeks.

Question, does anyone know of any retail outlets/stores that might carry the various "S" series tips for this station?  My R-CellCrapShak doesn't, their online also doesn't list them either, nor does Lowes, Menards or Home Depot carry them.   As a last resort, I know they are available thru various online sites, but they all charge ridiculous shipping and handling.
Thanks.  Ken

Ken,

I'm lucky to have a Fry's Electronics store here in town. Here is a link to their website, narrowed down to the list of Weller tips that fit your soldering station. I own the same unit and I'm very happy with it.

Thanks, Don.  I keep forgetting about Fry's.  We have one about 55 miles from here that I occasionally visit a couple times a year because it's a fun place to shop (all those rows and rows of goodies!).  I think I feel a near future trip coming up.  ;o)  Ken

Ken,

Techni-tool is another great place for finding electronic parts, testing equipment, and hand tools.
