Hi All-  planned on adding a soundtraxx decoder to my Athearn RTR C44-9W.  Wondering if anyone has every added a sound decoder along with speaker in one and wheather any frame modifications are necessary?    Any links would be appreciated as I couldn't find any through GOOGLE....

Thanks in advance,

Yes, you can use a MRC 1634 sound decoder, which is a replacment for the existing electronics board.  It comes with a speaker that can be mounted in the flare of the radiator section.  There are three ways to wire the lights, one  for 12 volt, one for 1.5 volt and one for LED's.  This also works with AC 4400's and Gensis SD 70's.
