NCE D13SR wiring
Posted by Bapou on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 4:41 PM
I am trying to install a NCE D13SR decoder in a P1K RDC-3. In the decoder manual it says which wire does which... by color. On the RDC it shows where to connect the decoder wires... by number. Can somone post a chart which wire color would be which number?

Bapou, although the NMRA provides a color wiring chart, its not always accurate with the decoder you are using. I found this out the hard way with a soundtraxx decoder. Always check to see where the wires are going, don't always rely on the color code. My RTR Athearn Gp PC board wiring colors were backwards. So I had to use an ohm meter to track down the actual wiring schematic.
