On page 64 of the book "E Units, Electro-Motive's Classic Streamliners" (Jeff Wilson, published by Kalmbach), there's a photo of the E-8 demonstrator No. 952 coupled to a vehicle identified as an "EMD Test Car". This looks like an interesting project for a model using an undecorated dummy Athearn F7B, modified to alter the porthole positions and remove the grills. However, does anyone know where I might be able to find a photo of the other side of this car, and some information (ideally a photo) of the roof details? - I'm assuming that it didn't have the radiator fans of a normal B unit, but I know assumptions can be a dangerous thing with modelling trains!
