Greetings all. New poster coming to you all the way from Sydney, Australia! I am seeking the prototype colours and the paint used on locomotives owned by the Genesee and Wyoming, which is the prominent Orange and Black lining livery. An example is from a photographed I've searched for as displayed on RailPictures.net: http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=103900 and http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=17703 I'm mainly after what avaliable model paints (Floquil, Humbrol, Revell, etc) which would represent the orange and black used on these locomotives. My purpose for this query is that I'm in the process of painting a few model Australian prototype locomotives which represent the operator Australian Railroad Group (ARG), formerly owned by a consortium half of whom was Genesee and Wyoming. ARG's livery was very much identical to those applied on G&W's locomotives.
