Red marker lights and other questions for Athern F7A 388L/B unit

The red light used as a marker would only be on if that end of the B unit was the last part of the train.  In other words if the AB set is being used as a helper and the A unit is couple to the caboose shoving and the B unit is the rear of the train.  Or it the AB set  was running engine light with the B unit trailing, it would be the rear of the train.  Any other location in the train and the red light would be off.

The only time a bell or horn would be used on a B unit is when it is being moved by itself.

OK so in the consist i will have to make it advanced to disable the horn and bell. Marker lights for the b unit are togglible. Though they did have a reverse headlight on those but its not moddeled. The only thing is messed up is the marker light for the A unit is tied to the Gyra light which means on the same CV so I cannot control that. And like I said previously it gets brighter in reverse on A unit only.

IF the B unit even had a horn, it was usually just a single blat horn, enough to garner attention when the hostler was moving the unit by itself within a terminal ....

Ok it is a ATSF f7A/B 388L/388B. I think Athern gets it wrong alot of these things making the b unit like a a unit using the same decoders. I just set the sound of the horn and bell to 0 on the b unit. The maker lights are togglible i leave them off when using frieght. The marker light on the A unit is tied to the Gyra light so I cannot turn that off. Funny thing is that in reverse the marker light gets brighter is that correct for it to always be on in the a unit or did Athern just mess this up royally?

If the A and B unit have the same engine number, they probably would have been connected with a drawbar, and would have been considered one unit. Generally, a B unit wouldn't have a horn or bell since the only time they'd move on their own might be just a short move by a hostler to position it in a roundhouse or repair shop. The engineer would only be able to blow the horn in the unit he was in, there's no way to control a horn or bell in a trailing unit from the lead unit.

First are the red marker lights on the front and rear of the b unit always on when enabled or are they directional? ie on in front in forward and on in back on reverse.

Also I assume the horn and bell was not on by defualt when b unit was connected to a A unit creating that horrible sterio effect. I have it set up so it doesnt sound when in forward but does in reverse using alt sound tables as I know b units did have small horns and bells but think they were only used when reversing in a consist.
