You might try contacting the Allen County Museum in Lima, Ohio as they have an extensive collection of drawings and memoribilia from the Lima Loomotive Works.

Rule 1: This is my railroad.

Rule 2: I make the rules.

Rule 3: Illuminating discussion of prototype history, equipment and operating practices is always welcome, but in the event of visitor-perceived anacronisms, detail descrepancies or operating errors, consult RULE 1!

I don't know the tonnage on this particular locomotive, but is something like this what you're looking for? https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/ec/Shay_drawing.png

You will have to do the looking, they aren't necessarily listed by tonnage.

42 ton Shay drawing needed
Posted by Jeff Kraker on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 8:29 AM

I am searching for a scale drawing of a 42 ton Shay for a scratch building project.  I have tried contacting the California Railroad Mueseum and they could not provide what I am looking for.  Does anyone know where or if a drawing may be attained.

thanks
