I have the scanner on in my office. I get the local chatter on the CN's Waukesha, WI Sub.
There's a state wild life area not far from me called Vernon Marsh, CN goes through it and has a long siding in the midle of it.
Somebody was walking their dog, between the main and the siding. OOOPS! Yea, he got busted.
There's not too many places you can get directly to the tracks without a long hike, through a marsh.
Oh well.
And in another news flash, I watch a rail cam covering the NS double track main through Chesterton, IN. I've never seen so many trains! mostly East bound, one right after the other.

The sound of a single drop in a large pond. While the rest of the world is busy doing digital stuff (as am I), or working, or sleeping, his single n of but one will go unheard. He'll learn his lesson, probably, but nobody else will be affected, and most left still ignorant about this kind of trespass.
Many moons ago, I was working in a yard outside Houston, TX. The yard was in a largely undeveloped area, covered with low pine trees and had an access road around the back side of the yard. I was leaving the yard and as I drove across the access road I noticed a pick up truck parked about a 1/4 mile down the access road. I drove down there and found a man and a woman, dressed in exercise clothes, parked next to the tracks, unloading bar bells from the back of the truck. I asked them what they were doing and they said they just wanted to exercise there. I told them that this was an active switching yard and they couldn't be doing that. The only exercise they got was unloading the bar bells then loading them back in the truck to leave.

It's not too often you here about this on the scanner. CN does take blatant treaspasing seriously.
So seriously, to point that during the transition from the WC to CN, I had taken many photos capturing the WC, and when I went to submit them to a WC specific web site, they were politely turned down, as some of the pictures I took, I WAS treaspasing, and the administrator of the web site fear repocussions from the CN, as he said they monitor such things.
The little tabs on the ties, are supposedly there to look bad in pictures, so people won't stand on the tracks in front of the station at San Juan Capistrano. The explanation could be fake, but why else would they be there unless the engines are Marklin?

Which is partly why that marsh has become such a popular place for photographers and railfans who have good quality drones.
