For those who may be interested in photos of train depots in the south, I came across this: https://scpictureproject.org/tag/trains-depots/
Has some interesting pictures of a lot of different styles of depots, in various states of repair.

Nice! Thanks for the link, Jim! I love looking at depots or interlocking towers - whatever state they resided in or RR line they belonged to.
Here's a link to a webpage for depots that were in OH. It's divided first by county then city/town. I could spend hours perusing through those photos.
It also warms my heart to see when someone has preserved a depot and tried to retain some or most of it's architectural history. My wife and I visited a candy/chocolate store in West Liberty, OH. IIRC, inside they had one of the sliding wooden doors with the hardware still intact and railroad-related peripheralia on the walls. And, on one wall, they retained the original interior siding.

Thanks guys for adding those extra links. I think the design and style is fascianting, esp for the small town depots. A couple years back we were visiting Clemson SC and stopped in the restored depot. What was most fascinating to me was the bright color combinations the railroads used "back in the day" from the black and white image we have of the world.
If you enter "Name of State Train Depot"in a Google image search a lot of color photos will come up.
I tried to sell my two cents worth, but no one would give me a plug nickel for it.
I don't have a leg to stand on.
Some great links - thanks for posting them!

Thanks, I did not know there were Flickr groups. Being a fan of interlocking towers, there are three different groups and you can search for Interlocking Towers. The later turns up light house as well
