I am currently building a 1:29 version of Wisconsin & Southern's Executive E9A unit 103. Progess can be viewed on these forums below. Where do people post build threads on the MRR forums? I could start one if people are interested.

My question for the MRR forum is if anybody knows about 103's dynamic radiator fan. Compared to these drawings of a E9 (http://paulpratter.com/biography/passengeraunit.jpg) the fan looks like it was replaced with a more modern version. My Aristocraft E8/9 doesnt come with a dynamic radiator fan, but I could order one from either a USA Trians GP7/9 or SD40-2. Below are some comparison photos.
UP 957A (WSOR 103): Appears to have original radiator fan

Does anybody agree with my theory or know the story on the fan? It deffinantly doesnt look orginal.
