PRR Lounge Car # s 1148 - 1149.

I'm attempting to determine how the PRR painted the C&O styled Pullman Standard  Buffet Lounge cars purchased from the  Rio Grande in 1967 for use on the "General" which became the "Broadway Limited" after the two trains were combined.

The majority of the photo's available on line, are of the restored car in Rio Grande Ski Train service, and one Post Amtrak photo of the car in Penn Central Paint. However, I cannot seem to find anything to indicate how the PRR painted the car.

The PC photo indicated that the flat plate was aluminum or silver to match the lower fluting, with black painted letterboards/numberboards and white lettering, as well as black PC decals. It is quite possible that the PRR followed the same path, using Keystones and red numberboards.

The car is available from Union Station Products, and I would like to detail it to match the late PRR era.

Any insight would be appreciated.
