I am trying to model the Rio Grande's "Exposition Flyer", c. 1941, and am having some trouble with the cars' colors. From what I can determine, the cars are black, with silver window trim, and yellow lettering. Any help is surely appreciated.
Thank you for all considerations,
Mike

Macbmac1,
Possibly the
Colorado Railroad Museum
in Golden, CO, can help you on this question. Have you tried there ? Their URL is:
http://www.crrm.org
They might even have a publication for sale that discusses the "Exposition Flier."
Another route would be to contact the
NMRA's Kalmbach Memorial Library
KALMLIB@aol.com and ask them to research it for you . You could also ask the library to make a copy of the article I found via a title search at the Index of Magazines..
