Has anyone ever modeled the E,J & E? In what scale?

I'm going to be doing a short section of EJ&E on my RR, which will be focused on the C&NW and North Shore Line.
I'm building two DT-6-6-20s, so I'll have to show them off on my layout.

I have a friend who's basement is quite the EJ&E empire. He models in HO scale, layout is designed for operations, and can handle about 25 operators.

here in the Chicago area there are some modelersand most hobby shops that have custom painted equipment have some EJ&E stuff but it is a minor following in my opinion. A potentially excellent railroad to model because it crossed and interchanged with nearly all of the majors into Chicago and one of the few with a very stiff grade up out of the Illinois river basin in Joliet. It has something for everyone including a very derelict but beuatiful old station in downtown Gary Indiana that would rival anything any railroad erected.
