CNJ color schemes

I've seen models of CNJ engines with two different color schemes: blue with orange stripes, and green with yellow stripes. For what years did CNJ use those different schemes? (I'm predominantly using NYC, but I may want to have other nearby RR companies' engines appear at either an interchange or via track rights. I figure CNJ, New Haven and PRR are all good choices for that.)

There was also a third scheme the CNJ used for some of its motive power, which was mostly red with white lettering and such. I haven't a clue as to what years went with what paint, though.

You are forgetting the other scheme of B&O blue with or without a yellow stripe. It was seen on the H10-44s, some of the F7s, some Baldwin switchers, and the SD40s.

From "Trackside around Allentown, PA 1947-1968 with Arthur Angstadt" by Jeremy F. Plant (ISBN 1-58248-071-0). The CNJ's first passenger color scheme was the Blue and Yellow with red stripes. One picture shows a Baldwin DRX--4-2000 in October of 1947. Pictures of GP-7's with the green with yellow stripes were circa 1964. Locos with the blue scheme with yellow (orange?) stripes were late 50's early sixties. I have other books that show these schemes existing into the 70's.
