What train do you intend to have the T-1 haul? The Broadway was all-Pullman, while other trains such as the Trail Blazer were coach trains. (I assume you're modelling the are between Crestline and Chicago?)

Eastern Car Works makes smooth-side passenger car kits you can use for some of the cars, and other kits by other manufacturers may exist, as well. You can use the Spectrum P-70 coaches and other heavyweight cars, but those were likely used on secondary trains than on the top-end trains more likely to be pulled by the P Company's newest steam passenger power in that time frame (though they later pulled just about anything passenger or express related).

Refer to the genl info forum for my list of available cars. On that forum you didn't mention your time frame. For your time frame you'll want most of your S/L cars done in the "Lowey" 2 tone tuscan red scheme rather than the solid tuscan w/ 1 gold stripe above and two below the windows as that didn't come out until 1947

Don't forget if you model a mainline train to add some NH cars.....

Especially if its the Federal or any other run throughs.
