SD60 Horns
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, January 17, 2006 9:04 PM
Hello,

I'm installing a Sound Decoder for EMD Second Generation loco into a SD60 loco. The horn selection is 1,3, and 5 chime. Which one did the SD60 have if any of these fits the discription?

They had K3LA horns. the Nathan K series 3 chime horn. One of the most common horns on the railroads. Pretty much every locomotive today has this horn but you may here it with different chimes.
