I want to design an N scale railroad based on the TH&B. If anyone can point out any good material where I can get information on this railway would be greatly appreciated.

Pogo-p,
Welcome to the
MR Forums
!
Here's a link to some articles about the TH&B cited at the
Index of Magazines
(at the top of this page):
http://index.mrmag.com/tm.exe?opt=S&cmdtext=TH%26B&MAG=ANY
There are articles about layouts, about the prototype and about the rolling stock.

I think there is a TH&B special interest group.
There is a hobby shop in Hamilton that carries an extensive line of TH&B painted rolling stock.
and I think the latest issue of (say it quietly) Railroad Model Craftsman has an article.
