All Railroad Lines of the World
Posted by DrW on Saturday, May 20, 2023 3:40 PM

Want to see a map of all the railroad lines in your neck of the woods? Want to see how fast trains are allowed to go between Istanbul and Ankara? Want to know if you can go to Kathmandu/Nepal by train? (You can't.)

All these questions can be answered by

I could spend hours with this program. Judging by the places I know, the maps are very accurate. E.g., for here in Lubbock they show even the small railroad line in the (now closed) amusement park "Joyland". The only disadvantage of the program is that places are indicated in the local language, and I do not know how "Beijing" in written in Mandarin.

Thanks for making the link clickable. And yes, we are still in a drought. They had forecasted rain for last week, but all we got were grey clouds.
