I just found this awesome video showing city life and vehicles in the c1940 era. Great color shots of automobiles back when you could tell them apart! A great tool for modeling that era for the vehicles, people, structures and sinage. Smog obviously has been around for quite some time too.

Nice!  While watching that video, I seen another one on the 50's. So I watched that one too.  That's when I started to remember time.  Born in 49.

Great video!  I noticed that there were roadway stripes by the end of the video.  It looked like a bumper car free for all there at the beginning.  Those drivers must have been masters of parallel parking the way they were packed-in in some of the scenes.
