SP Black Widow F-Unit Decals - State Your Preferences
Posted by Attuvian on Sunday, March 29, 2020 12:16 AM

In the last year and a half I have acquired a small stable of Stewart/Kato F-units in Espee Black Widow livery.  In addition to grabs, lift rings and the like, they are going to need road numbers.  My understanding is that there are minor differences in them between brands.  What do you folks suggest as the most accurate?  Also, does anyone make a decal for the aluminum (?) sill patch below each of the doors on these units?  That would be much better than painting them on.

Thanks!

Hello,

I can't comment on the decals but I am aware of the etched detail parts that Highliners offers for their F unit shells.

Presumably they will work for Stewart/Bowser. If I'm understanding the sill patch you have in mind.

Good Luck, Ed

Ah, kick plates.  That's them.

Thanks, Ed.
