Yes NJ transit is working on thier own heritage fleet. So far two electric units carry PRR tuscon/ gold 5 pinstripe and Lackawanna. And one of the gp40' is CNJ blue/yellow. If i tracked the history right , tjat unit is an ex CNJ commuter passenger unit

Yes, thecGO40 is one of the original passenger units. The HEP equipmentvwas removed long ago and it was being used for MOW service, but they painted it back to the original CNJ scheme with the NJ Transit logos as it was in service, pretty cool.

AND according to the January issue of "Railpace" NJ Transit is re-installing the HEP unit in that Heritage GP40 so it can be used on the passenger trains again and not just in MOW service.
