Hi Guys N Gals, I have a project that I want to do, I want to UP patch my SP diesels, now I know that the UP engine numbers that will be on my SP Locos are on a yellow background, the decals I'm getting do not have a yellow background, my question is.... what can I use as my yellow background for my numbers??? card stock??? I don't know I'm working in Nscale. Thank guys n Gals for your help. Trainsrme1
If you want to put those yellow patches on your SP units, Microscale Decals might have what you need in their TF-16, yellow trimfilm decal sheet, which is a 4.25 by 7.25 inch solid yellow piece of decal film from which you cut pieces to the size you need. If the yellow of the TF-16 is not the correct yellow for your need, get a piece of clear decal film and airbrush it with the appropriate yellow paint and cut as needed. Apply your numbers on the patch as you would a painted surface.
